Meet Bret

Bret Dealey is an American oil painter whose work centers on the inner presence of women—often not immediately visible, yet quickly recognized.

By eighteen, he held a solo exhibition, and his work was acquired by New York City’s Chase Manhattan Bank—an early indication that his work was being perceived differently.

A profound healing crisis marked a turning point in his life. It sharpened both his artistic perception and his ability to recognize the deeper patterns shaping how others think, feel, and behave—insight he now applies in his work with others and in his art.

For over 30 years, he has worked privately, one-on-one with high-performing women, helping them identify and change the internal patterns that create pressure, emotional disconnection, and a constant need to maintain control.

His paintings are concerned not with appearance, but with state—composure, restraint, quiet confidence, and the tension between strength and softness.

His work is held in private collections throughout the United States.

Each painting is created not to occupy space but to hold it.
